The PingER Project - Measuring internet connectivity arround the world
The PingER project out of Princeton University is a great tool for learning about the country level internet connectivity that is available around the world. It's focus is on monitoring the digital divide, and they have some great tools to do that with, including this one using Google's Motion Chart Widget.
